Photograhy Challenge...

Welcome to the first photography challenge that I will be hosting at K2 Scrapbook Studio ....I am very excited to host a photography challenge each month. I hope you will join us the second Monday of each month for a cool and creative challenge.

Keeping it simple for the first week and as time goes on we will get into more detailed photography challenges...

The challenge this week is to share photos of items found in your house. Maybe you have photos of a family heirloom that has been passed down for generations. How about photos of the awesome flea market find. A recently remodel room in your house? Show us photos of your space! Whatever it is, I encourage you to take time to record some (or all!) of the details that makes your house a home.

Have fun with this one...think about composition and getting close up and filling the frame....can't wait to see what you come up with.

Post your photo somewhere on the internet....your blog, facebook, or in a online gallery and then link us to it here on the K2 Blog...or on my blog in the comment section...

Scrap and Dash...

Nikki's Layout Challenge...

For those of you Sarasota locals...K2 is going to be hosting weekly blog challenges every Monday. I am responsible for the first Monday of the month...which will be a LO challenge. The second Monday, Kim will be doing a photography challenge, the third Monday Jamie will be issuing a card challenge and the forth Monday of the month Jessica will be issuing a new product/technique challenge! We hope you play along...and I know we are going to do something special for the person who completes the most challenges!!

November's challenge is to use: two patterned papers, two tags and one photo! Above is my LO, lets see yours!

The end of my favorite month....

Many of you don't know that October is my favorite month of the year. I love the idea that leaves are changing, the fall weather begins to roll in, the A/C goes off and all the windows in my house open and stay open for 6 months and it just makes my mood instantly happier. I say "idea" because obviously here in Florida we don't get many changing leaves and this October we've had an average temperature of 89 degrees and I've only opened my windows 1 day so far but nonetheless I LOVE IT!! And lets not forget that very special day: HALLOWEEN!! Also my favorite holiday! From the moment you walk up the steps to my house where you'll catch a 6 feet creepy spider hanging and ghosts blowing in the wind hanging from the trees you just know something exciting is going on inside! October is also the prelude to the holiday season as we prepare for 2 months of crazy schedules, holiday parties, SHOPPING, and re-uniting with family and friends. With all that said, I just want to wish everyone a HAPPY HALLOWEEN and let you know that the November Calendar is up on the website. We're offering 2 classes this month and we have some exciting "Challenges" that I will be blogging about soon.
