Tampa Bay Treasure Hunt 2010
February 26th - March 7th
Kathy and I attended the first Treasure Hunt meeting in Tampa on Monday night and even though all of the information was overwhelming we are SO EXCITED for this event! What an awesome way to bring in lots of scrapbookers to K2 from all over the state of Florida!
For those of you who don't know what Treasure Hunt is, it is 10 intense days of a Pirate Themed Treasure Hunt at 11 Scrapbook Stores from Sarasota to Lakeland. You purchase your "Passport" from a participating Scrapbook Store for $10.00. Along with your passport you receive a free bag full of Scrapbook Supplies, a 6x6 album, and some party beads to wear around your neck. You visit each participating store during the event and spend a minimum of $5.00 and you will receive a stamp in your passport. At each store you will also enjoy a free 6x6 Make-N-Take for your album and a special, hand-made tage to put on your party beads. You will enjoy 10% discount at all participating store during the event. Plus additional freebies and goodies!! Visit all 11 store and you will have a completed album and loaded up party beads. Then you return your completed passport to your store and it will be entered into the drawings:

You can visit all 11 stores on your own, with your friends, OR
you can take a ride on the Treasure Hunt Party Bus! It will run the first weekend of the Treasure Hunt, Saturday & Sunday 2/26 & 2/27. It will take you from store to store in style! The buses will leave from Violettes in Lakeland, FL and Scrapbooking in Paradise in South Pasadena, FL. You will visit 6 stores the first day and 5 the second. They are thinking the cost will be about the same it was last year, $35/Day, I will update you as soon as that cost is solidified!
We are Pre-Selling Treasure Hunt 2010 Passports at K2 starting today. We should be receiving the bags in a few weeks, once they are stuffed with all the goodies!
